Fractionalised Energy Hub

We founded SolarQ because we believe there is a smarter way to deliver renewable energy. Currently, there is a natural limit to how much renewable energy can contribute to an organisation’s energy consumption due to constraints like space availability.

We have approval for a 350MW Solar PV and 4,000MWh of battery storage and are advancing on approvals on a 1,000MW Solar PV. We are your low cost renewable energy solution without complexity.

Strategic Energy Hubs 350MW to 1,000MW

Co-locating the SolarQ Energy Zone on the fringe of 70% of Queensland’s population will deliver lower cost energy for these customers. SolarQ’s first project at Lower Wonga, Gympie, has many superior attributes, which include:

  • Site is only 75km north of the Sunshine Coast
  • Adjoins an existing 275kV substation
  • 350m transmission line to connect
  • Site directly connects to South Pine 2 x 275kV networks
  • Proximity to population provides lower loss factors and reduces network congestion risks.
